James Herring’s passion for writing surfaced early and grew to full fruition when at the age of 19 he finished his first novel ‘Knightsky’. Unhappy with the way the novel turned out, he used it as a learning experience and began work on a new novel that would later be named ‘Umbrosus’. He is currently majoring in English with a writing emphasis and a minor in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
